Clapping Music #1
An experiment on rhythm and edition. The task was to translate the rhythm of a music sheet to visual rhythm. Of course, I didn't used the original music because it would be a distraction.
The graphic that runs through the film its a sound wave representation printed on plastic and then scanned over the image.
I'm a passionate lover of music and sound, of folk and contemporary experimental music. For this film I used the score for Clapping Music by great American minimalist composer Steve Reich.
