IR Pinhole Failure part two
Last time I overexposed 3-4 stops, now 4 to 5 stops. still I don't get the desired IR effect
Hm, as far as I know, all of the IR film is actually a very good B&W film, which has an extended sensitivity to IR light too. I never tried it, but basically you have to apply some filtering in order to get an IR-only photo. There are dedicated IR filters with different thread attachments, and different cutoff wavelengths, sold on evil bay and other places, and as far as I know, you can also make an IR-pass filter from the overexposed (black to the sight) head end of processed C-41 colour film. Conduct your own research before following my advices.
