For fun, I used my #Sprocket #Rocket in bulb mode (normally reserved for the night or for longer exposures). This gives photos of a beautiful artistic blur on the quays of the Gironde, in Bordeaux, not far from the Chaban-Delmas bridge.
During our February holidays in the Médoc, we did a wonderful hike around the Cousseau pond. A splendid blue sky, a breathtaking landscape, unspoiled nature, a real little corner of paradise...
With Anca a.k.a. @ofchanceandchoice, we made with great pleasure shared a double swap. Here the first, with a #lomochrome #purple film: first exposure by Anca with his #Lomo #LC-A in Bucharest, and second exposure with my #Nikon FE in Chazelles-sur-Lyon and around the La Gimond dam lake in Grézieu-le-Marché. And the great bonus is that during my second exhibition on March 27, @andre30 came to visit me, and he is in two of the photos! A #lomomeeting on a #lomoswap is pure lomographic happiness!
On April 3, my son @martingraphy took part in a rugby sports scouting day in Aurillac, a small town in the Cantal department. This weekend was also a brutal return of winter, since we found snow and very negative temperatures. While my son was training, I walked around Aurillac, and took quite a few photos. I occasionally brought out my #Diana F, which I hadn't used in a long time. And I did well!
During the last february holidays, I took out my Zenit TTL to take pictures of the magnificent garden of my sister-in-law and my brother-in-law who live in the Médoc, and where I have already taken a lot of pictures...
We spent our last vacation in October on the Côte d'Azur, between Cannes, Nice, Menton, Monaco and the Nice hinterland. Here the second album of Monaco. The day started with a light rain, but eventually everything cleared up. Black and white was the perfect choice.
In early October 2020, severe weather and torrential rains severely damaged the Roya and Vésubie valleys, north of Nice. During our last vacation in Nice, in October 2021, we went up to Tende, Saorge and Breil-sur-Roya, a year later. The damage to the road and to some houses is still significant, but it is again possible to access by car as far as Tende. The region of the Nice hinterland is however so beautiful, but bruised. Here, the fourth album of our excursion in Roya valley, in the village of Saorge, with a CineStill Tungsten 800 film and my Nikon FM3a camera.
While waiting for my daughter @lomomargot, who had an appointment in Montbrison, I finished a film by taking a few steps along the Vizézy, a small stream that crosses the old town of Montbrison. I used a Neptune Thalassa 35mm lens, and Lomochrome Metropolis film.
A cape, the sea and a cloudy sky: some views of the cape of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, near Nice. End of the day, with a declining light, powerful clouds, and an increasingly rough sea. An ideal vantage point to see the beauty of the elements.
A beautiful bike ride on the Alsace wine route, through several villages in the vineyard. It was one of our first excursions last summer, with a few twists and turns ... a breakdown with one of our bikes, then the rain, unexpectedly, which soaked us.
Next Testfilm from my 30 meter old Ektachrome i bought and struggle with! I shoot the film with bracketing from 400 ISO down to 25 ISO and it worked. Home developed in Cinestill C-41 these are actually the best result now!
