This is was a last lomotherapy session in Moscow before ending of my science thesis in university. My psychotherapy method based on the new kind of art - lomography and use rules of lomography as method of social therapy. Lomotherapy strategy is chosen by the psychologist according to the psy-test results. Dependent on needs and interests of participants the place for photo-walks is chosen. The participants gather to choose the route of the first session and listen to the lecture on lomography. Lomography rules are positioned by the psychologist as starting points on the way to self-discovery of participants. Each participant receives photographic film and camera. Psychologist and technical adviser tell how to use cameras and the rules of lomography. The participants create a lomowall from selected photos together in dependence on group structure and personality factors. In this session I was working with people with disabilities. It was charitable project which helped to realize fund for the disabled "Best Buddies". Big thanks to Alexandra Shpotova and Denis Rosa who provided technical part of the project. After photo-walk we created the lomowall from analogue pictures of guys, and you can see our result on and Photos made by a member of the first experiment, see on

  • selfmade splitzer by @buckshot - strange colours…

    shared by bloomchen on 2014-02-27

when i saw the shots of @buckshot he took with his selfmade splitzer for the LC-W i was immediately wanting to try this. so did i. the splitzer is really easy to make but obviously it's not easy to handle everything when shooting upside down. so as you will notice on the shots one side of the shot is more exposed than the other. this is surely due to my finger holding the splitzer when shooting upside down so the finger partly covers the lightmeter. and as you can see there are dark parts on mpst shots. probably my cardboard splitzer was a bit too big so when switching there were parts not exposed at all. so definitely worth giving more tries and maybe using plastic. pls have a look at buckshots album if you haven't yet:
