Not sure why some of these are out of focus in the middle at the bottom, maybe there was a smudge on the lens or the filter?

Elvis Presley had curved his name to be forever remembered by generations of rock and roll fans - being known to be 'The King.' With his good looks and ability to sing, dance and act, he charmed millions of fans worldwide through his music records, live concerts and movies he made during his lifetime. This cultural icon was a true performer of all things and definitely a heartthrob who enjoyed strong following among crazed women. This album is a tribute to Elvis with two additional layers of Basquiat graffiti art and street vignettes.

In photography, toning is a method of changing the color of black-and-white photographs. In analog photography, toning is a chemical process carried out on silver-based photographic prints. This darkroom process can not be done with a color photograph and although the black-and-white photograph is now toned, it is still considered a black and white photograph as it is monochromatic. The effects of these processes can be emulated with software in digital photography. (Source: Wikipedia) Even if these photos may look like sepia-toned, these are not sepia-toned. Took these velvia shots of the fiesta procession. I would suspect the defective lightmeter of my LCA+ has produced this effect which I kinda like. They look like images from decades ago. Perhaps I should experiment more using the same camera with other films to find out what exciting results it may produce.

The tipster section of the lomography magazine is something that always interests me - specially reading about crazy experiments with films. The dishwasher experiment by the lab rats at the lomo headquarter resulted in awesome shots that really made me say Wow! I also thought I should give it a try. During breaks between outreach performances to flood-affected communities, I had the time to make my crazy attempt. But the problem was I don't have a dishwasher at home. While I immediately thought the washing machine may be a good substitute, I was a bit concerned about the water temperature and the cycle time. Undaunted with my limitations, I opted to approximate the same effect by simply boiling my films and giving them a cold bath and drying afterwards as the tipster suggested. The results on the doubles I did on vintage portraits and images of paintings by renowned graffiti artist Basquiat I must say are very encouraging. This is the first of two albums.
