These shoots were taken on the noname black and white film for c-41 process. Usually this film scans like black and white, but this time laborant made colorful scan and get sepia pictures. Violet color on pictures caused of bad chemistry in lab where I was develop film.

As in the U.S., the Crimea has own West Coast. It lasts from Sevastopol to Olenevka. West Coast is very different from the south and east. And as for me, the West is the best ... My latest sun ventures, one is a view from a serene little courtyard of the University of Zurich and the other from the top of the Speer mountain east of Lake Zurich. I think I have exposure and feel pretty much dialed in, now I just need to find nice spots and see this project through. I am really happy that I get good responses, actually I already sold a couple of large prints! To all the people who like, comment and follow me step by step with this, it is very inspiring to have your support, thank you!

Another sunset, this time with the foreground of one of my favorite trees at Rapperswil pier. About 3hrs 30min exposure with some interesting details in this one; Some leaves are half transparent, meaning they fell down half way during the exposure, nice way showing transitioning seasons. Or the hint of a person sitting on the bench at bottom right. There must have been 50 people briefly standing in my shot over those three hours, I like to believe that they are somehow in there. However, it has a different feel than the purely abstract diagonal sun streak compositions of late.

I think I'm getting somewhere, this is my favorite sun trail so far. Framing works, looks really abstract with the diagonale, this would make a nice large print in my opinion. It's just down the road in Richterswil, amazing though how the element of time makes the familiar place feel so special. More sun trails coming up soon, let me know what you think!

My ife and I met Sara from Morocco a few weeks before on a Inter Nations event in Bern. We asked her if she would be interested to be a model in a photo-shooting. We met at Bern-Trainstation Welle 7 in a bar at late afternoon. The sun was warm through the windows. After we talked about the planned shooting, we decided to enjoy the moment and try a teaser-shooting. Beside of my digital equipment I still had 30 shots on my Konica Autoreflex T3 (First version). So I took some nice pictures using a Vivitar 135mm Close Focus f2.8 and a Konica Hexanon AR 35mm f2. I really love the results. The warm colors, the cool location and a really relaxed and self-confident model. Just perfect. On 2 shots the shutter of the camera was hanging that's why I got these moved results. One week later we had a real photo-shooting with her and 2 other models.

Extrem vacations: End of september I spent 4 days within the "Chernobyl Exlusion zone". Creepy and surreal as hell... and with a morbid note of beauty. We visited a lot of different places within the zone: old villages, farms, the Duga-3 Radar, Pripyat & the ferrywheel and the power plant itself. And yes: There are still a lot of radiation-hotspots. Certainly we never went to this places! If you have any questions, just leave a comment! ;-)
