A Second Heavy Hint

When I check a new person, I tend to visit the popular photos first. I bounce around the first couple of pages and select what I like from them.

What this tells me is what others think is your best work. I find the opinions of others odd at times, biased towards color over black and white, so I don’t entirely trust it. This is what I have been putting out a series of “personal favorites” folders.

Neither lomography nor flicker offers any direct means of sharing these. So I do a run-around by creating albums or sets.

I’d like to see more personal favorite folders so I can get a better idea of what my friends here like in their own work. Never trust the world out there to define you. Make your own statement.

    i guess most people do the same- start off with 'most popular', then if you find something/some style that catches your eye, you browse through the rest... but i totally agree with you that what others like may not be the self-perceived best shots... oh well.

    @lilithmoon Looking forward to it!

    @scabbyknees The solution is to create a personal favorites folder for others to browse through. If I see one of those, I am sure to check to see what the photographer liked.
