Twice a year our public library has a big fundraising booksale. It's held in an underground parkade, a couple of levels below the main library branch. I love this sale, but it is usually dangerous because I end up bringing home more books than I really need. This year, they had a 'box of books for ten bucks' deal. Trouble. I took both kids and just told them to put whatever books they wanted in the box. When we were nearly done we ran in to another family from my son's kindergarten class. They, too, were a dad, his son, and younger daughter. We hung out for a bit amid the book buying chaos. I couldn't resist taking this shot while the young ones shared there newfound treasures. :)
