Parking Lot Vignette
I use a series of step down rings for a real vignette, and more focused photos. It's almost like having a zoom lens, in that depending on your step down rings, you can "zoom" in on your subjects.
This method creates square photographs. The rest of the 2x3 frame is black, and easily cropped out. What you get here is a kind of "faked" medium format with your 35mm SLR.
It's also a good method to use to spot out your subjects.
