The Spartus 35F from the early 1950's looks very much like a mini version of the Sprocket Rocket. These were a genre of very common bakelite cameras from the 1940's-1950's, most tend to be 127 film cameras but these Spartus ones from the Herold Company in Chicago use 35mm. I love the simple film advance mechanism and mechanical counter wheel. There is a nifty rotating aperture control on the front as well (f7.7, f11, f16 and my favorite, SHUT) and the same simple leaf type shutter that you see on the Sporcket Rocket. Why LSI hasn't made us one of these yet is beyond me, a Mini Sprocket Rocket would be a wonderful addition to the Lomo Lineup. Pssst, guys, give it strap lugs please! ;)
