Ghosts of Old Industry #3

The old Canada Malting plant at the foot of Bathurst, on the lake (Bathurst Quay, next to the Island Airport Ferry Slip). Abandoned since the 80s, the building is a heritage site. There have been plans to re-develop the area, incorporating at least some of the building, for years. Some demolition is currently happening, as you can see. I originally pulled into the site in my car (what, the gate was open!), and was semi-politely chased away by the foreman before I got out of the car with the camera, so I parked a couple blocks away and took my shots from the small baseball diamond nearby.

Some crazy folks who've explored it at night:

This was a fat roll, probably because it was a roll of Fuji film being wound onto a non-Fuji take-up spool. The last half of the roll was exposed to varying degrees when I unloaded the film.
