A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon the text that says “Want to be home of the day, send your home to us etc etc.” and I thought I’ll do that, but only once I’ve got a 1000 photos or so, and have shot some really good ones – because currently mine are average.
Every day I wake up, the first, sad thing I do (it’s a habit) is roll over, pick up my phone and check my emails. I run my own business, so it’s sort of a minor obsession. Imagine my surprise when I find congrats emails from loads of my lomo chums saying Home of the Day!
I didn’t even submit myself!
At risk of a simple note in my blog to remind me of how cool it is to get home of the day on a huge international website turning into a bad speech from a boring holywood actor at the oscars…
My last few albums have been my best, I’ve learnt to relax and I’ve taken loads of advice from people like @vicuna and @traaart lots of you have shared your tips with me so thanks for all your help and welcoming me so nicely. @atria007 for all your likes, @weidong for your brilliantly irreverent humorous comments, @pussylove for asking me to do my first film swap (can’t wait for the results of that), @grazie for being so sweet, @icomewhenieatcaponata for the funniest username and cool comments, and absolutely everyone who’s posted a picture on lomography.com that has inspired me. This place is a brilliant resource full of brilliant people. As @grazie puts it.
