   It looks so desolate and haunting, like something violent has happened here, almost like I'm looking out of my trench, over no man's land. Brilliant vision.

   @charliedontsurf Actually, something really great happened here! In a large renaturation project, the formerly drained banks were flooded to create a habitat again for rare animal species, especially birds.
