Kampala Young General (Uganda #1)

In the beginning of December I was the first time in Uganda for an assignment. I had let very little time for personal photography and I tried to make the most out of it. Shooting at a waste collecting site in Kampala gave opportunity to some very impressive encounters with beautiful people. The young boy caught my major interest, because of his quirky helmet, which made him some sort of young general with red armour. Rose and Judy are pride waste collectors and receive 10.000 Schilling for a kilogramm of plastic waste, which is then to be recycled. I am happy to open this series with them...
