I shot some very expired (2009), condition unknown "Mystic Color Lab" film made in Italy (Ferrania?) in my trusty Olympus Stylus point and shooter with the intention of stressing the film before development in my somewhat spent Cine Still C41 chemistry. I soaked the canister in lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, then added boiling water for two minutes. I unspooled the film and put it on the Patterson reel and developed in C41. Well, not much happened to it. I was expecting a more dramatic effect. This was my first attempted to film souping so I guess I need to study up more on this technique.
