Sometime in the early 90s (right after the 1991 Mt. Pinatubo eruption) I was able to buy a set of plates made of volcanic ashfall. Being heavy, the plates mostly stay in the cupboard. Recently I made watercolor art on their surfaces and used them as my lomographic subjects. Doubled the shots with self-portraits underwater.
