@carsten-schmitt Well... it's entirely subjective however the glass and craft gone into making them is second to none. I love my M6, but I get more "keepers" with say my Fuji GW690ii and Mamiya RB67, but that could be due to the fact I slow down and compose more and appreciate medium format film than 35mm! In summary though the Leica M series are fantastic

@chilledvondub Agreed, my comment wasn't meant entirely serious. I'd be lying if I said that the appeal of Leica is not also due to the "myth" around them. Also, I agree they just are such beautifully designed and engineered little machines. I like the haptics and the looks almost as much as I like the results.
At the end of the day, the best camera in the world is either the one you are most comfortable with, or the the one you happen to carry with you at the time when that "moment" comes.

@carsten-schmitt For me a Leica was a bucket list camera! and I've owned 4 different Leica's now and loved all of them just got the M6 and Leica IIIf now they're both magical in their own ways :)

@chilledvondub I have an M3 and IIIf - agreed. Both are very cool. A diva and her quirky but elegant old grandmother they are. ;-)

@carsten-schmitt that is the best description I have ever heard! I've got a rather unique IIIf its got some custom orange and black paint job on it to spruce it up a little bit I'll have to do an album of camera's to share on my lomography page :)
