Cruelty to Smurfs is not cool, kids...!

I've been disappointed with the sharpness of the Takumar 28-80mm f3.5-4.5 zoom lens I've been using on my Pentax P50 over the past few years, so I decided to buy a prime lens instead. Specifically, I bought a Pentax SMC 50mm f1.7 lens on eBay for £20, and this is the first test roll with it. It's definitely sharper than my zoom, but, being a humble Pentax, it's obviously not as sharp as the 'good' lenses out there. (Next up, I'd like to find a 50mm f1.4 or f1.2 lens for my Nikon bodies, but they're damned expensive!!!)

You sure spend a lot of time on titles and captions for your photos! Without the "cruelty to smurfs" I probable would have skipped over this one, but now it's just hilarious! And being from Belgium I have to support my tiny blue countrymen ;-)

@sandravo Ha ha, yes - I sometimes need a catchy title to rescue a mediocre photo ;-) Glad you like my sense of humour! P.S. I grew up in Luxembourg, so I used to watch 'Les Schtroumpfs' on Belgian TV as a kid - loved it...!
