    Botanical Garden (Botanisk Have)

The Botanical Garden in Copenhagen is owned by University of Copenhagen, and has a history that goes back to 1600. As the garden, the university and the city developed, it was moved from location to location until October 9th 1874, when the garden opened in its present location. Close to Nørreport Station, it's open during the day and entry is free.

Last Saturday was the perfect day to escape the humdrum drag of the city and get back in touch with nature. It was warm and bright out all day, a welcome break from the notoriously gloomy weather we’ve been experiencing in NYC the past few weeks.

Sydney's Luna Park and Circular Quay

Circular Quay is the hub of Sydney Harbour, situated in a small inlet called Sydney Cove, the founding site for Sydney and Australia. It is a stepping-off point for most attractions based around the harbour and an exciting place to be on a warm summer's day. Luna Park is just a short ferry ride across the Harbour from Circular Quay and is a fun place with a dark history.
