To Russia with Love: Pulkovo Observatory, Saint Petersburg

Simply a must! The Pulkovo Obesrvatory has always been among my top favorite places in Saint Petersburg. I can visit it over and over again. After the madness of the big city, it is literarily a breath of fresh air.

Get a Nice Girl and a Kid So You Get to Know Your City Better

I dig deep in the city each time I go for a walk with my 4-month-old son. So if you want to get to know Berlin better - mainly the "Barrios", Kreuzberg and Neukölln - read on after the jump and have a look at the gallery at the bottom.

    Holga Unmasked!

See what you can do with your Holga when you DON'T use the 12 or 16 mask. It's naked, leaky, and overlapping fun. I have been using my Holga without either the 12 or 16 frame mask and have been getting some really nice results. I love the exaggerated vignetting and light leaks that occurred on every picture. These pictures all came from The Art of Waiting roll from September 2010, shot on Fuji Velvia.

    Richmond Park

The largest park in London. Richmond Park is a 2,360 acre park within London. It is the largest of the Royal Parks in London and Britain's second largest urban walled park after Sutton Park, Birmingham. The park is famous for its red and fallow deer, which number over six hundred. It is so big, you can't see everything in one day. So we decided to try the route suggested by the Walks in London book by Rough Guides which I recently bought.

    Durdle Door

Durdle Door is one of the most photographed landmarks along the Jurassic Coast. This rock arch in the sea was formed as a result of the softer rocks being eroded away behind the hard limestones, allowing the sea to punch through them. The name Durdle is derived from an old English word 'thirl' meaning bore or drill.

Jardine Majorelle - high-fashion cacti in Yves Saint Laurent's private paradise. What a way to start your encounter with Marrakech! Jardin Majorelle was in my top 5 things to do anyway, so it was even better when our hotel's porter gave us complimentary admission tickets to this garden. Anywhere you go in Marrakech, it's worth taking a taxi.

    Jardines de Turia

The Gardens of Turia (Jardines de Turia) in Valencia is 9km of greenery surrounded by ancient walls and buildings. As this place has always been prone to floods, it actually got severely damaged back in 1957 that even a number of people lost their lives and most of the city was ruined. Because of this, Valencia decided to divert the course of the river paving the way for the birth of this lush garden.
