How a Late 1970s Hong Kong Theme Park Recreated Scenes from Old China
Back in 1980 or thereabouts, my parents brought my brother and me to Hong Kong for family vacation. One of the places we visited was Sung Dynasty Village, a theme park based on an old village in China. Anyone knows if this theme park is still in operation?
@quaisoir: Thanks. I scanned it as is. I like the tinge of red. Been trying to replicate this tinge. Tried shooting with the Lomo ER 50-200 redscale and homemade scale films at ISO 50 but not so successful. Closest film that sorta reproduces this tinge naturally seems to be Lucky Color 200. Any tips on getting this vintage look?
@uncle_jay I've come across something else that might help recreate this look. It seems very similar to what happens if you cross process fuji superia 400 as slide (in E-6). I've not done it but I have seen albums where people have and you seem to get those creamy whites between the pinks... I'm going to try for my next experiment
