The morning of the last day would be the culmination of the workshop. Like in Midsayap, Navotas and Canlaon, the children of Roxas would present their improvisational play tackling about children's rights and the situation in their community before an audience of local leaders, parents, teachers and organizers. The children were so excited as evident with all of them waking up early that morning to take a bath, have breakfast and present themselves for the final rehearsal. I also woke up early that day and armed with my camera I took portraits of their morning fresh faces while they were waiting for their turn at the bathroom. The performance was a smash hit and brought the house in tears, if I may say, as the audience who were mostly in tears being so affected by the realities conveyed in the play. I doubled my shots with street scenes in Puerto Princesa the following morning. This photo was shot on film.
