Sandstone Bluffs
After following the Continental Divide Trail we ended up in El Malpais National Monument and Conservation Area. With Mesa cliffs on one side and an old lava flow on the other it was a beautiful unplanned find.

These tags describe this photo: arch, bluffs, sandstone, cliffs, lave, area, conservation, national, monumunt, malpais, and el. Date: 2012-10. Time: Afternoon.
