Just another night.

Just another night.

This album incorporates a few weeks of photography adventures and expeditions. On April 6th I attended the Minnesota / Paper Diamond show at the King King and got some tight photos of the DJs in action. I later got some roof access at a parking garage in my neighborhood that has an amazing 360 view of all of Los Angeles. You can see the city lights layer specifically at the bottom of the photos to allow the portraits to appear as if they are hovering over the city. I set the film speed to 100 and put a piece of black electrical tape over the apertreru to trick the LC-A into "bulb" mode. Exposure times: 35 to 55 seconds varying. Finally I met up with my lifelong friends Smash Le Funk, Sassy Sara, Duke Du Rock and the love of my life Skitten Browning to do some light painting. After seeing a roll of film done by the honorable Satomi from Lomogallery LA, using flash lights to paint portraits in the shot, I was truly inspired to try it myself. After a brief euphoric experience (wink wink), we painted the night away. You can see the effects of the flashlight on our faces... truly awesome. Enjoy mi amigos!
