I would like to visit a galgo shelter once too but then I am sure I would not leave it alone ;) My Mulan came from Alicante, but there is one organization in Slovenia that is working together with Scooby Medina.

Hi @matej_mjaw! Me and my boyfriend are veterinarians, so we visit Scooby Medina whenever we can to help. I'd take home every dog in there! Right now we are the foster home of beautiful little galgo girl that will be going to France for adoption next month :)

@silvereyes that's so nice of you, I really respect people like you. none should experience such horror as those poor dogs do. I am also thinking to be a foster first, before I bring a second galgo to my home ;) I also might start saving for a trip to Spain just to volunteer to work in the shelter for a week.

Thanks @matej_mjaw! Unfortunately our home is small so we can only host one galgo at a time. You'll see pictures of her here soon. That's very kind of you too! if you ever want to come to Scooby Medina to volunteer don't hesitate to write to me again, I can get you in touch with them :)
