Ilford SFX
With this film and its extended range, a red filter enables the film to have an infrared effect. If shot without the filter, it behaves like a normal B&W film. This film is nice but expensive. For me the IR effect was not consistent, perhaps I just don't know how to control the effect. I took this on a very sunny day to counter all the light reduction of the dark red filter.
Taken by neanderthalis with a Canon AE-1 loaded with Ilford SFX film in Pearl City, United States. These tags describe this photo: ir, infrared, hawaii, oahu, hiking, wandern, b&w, and trekking. Date: 2012-09-16. Time: Noon. This photo can also be found in the album Ilford SFX and the IR effect.
