The town of San Jose had one of the lowest numbers of women accessing health services before, during and after pregnancy that's why holding the interactive campaign to promote reproductive health education and services was a wise move by the provincial health unit of the province of Tarlac. Devoid of the ceremonial components. the Lakbay Buhay Kalusugan package came complete with prenatal/postnatal check-up inside the mobile bus clinic, dental check-ups, laboratory urine analysis, health classes and of course, the interactive exhibit on maternal and child health. Preggy women enjoyed toying with the stuff in the exhibit plus the engaging facilitation of the volunteer health workers we trained.
