Lomographed the 2011 Higantes Festival despite the celebratory water dousing in the streets of Angono. Well, I came prepared to get wet anyway. To make my shots distinct from my past documentation of this folk ritual that is rooted in protesting colonial abuses, I made doubles with textures and gave my roll a hot bath. Chemically risking my films with the possibility of destruction has been exciting me recently. Experiments really make lomography more fun. Plus the surprises you get are truly endless! This photo was shot on film. Taken by lakandula with a Canon A1 x Olympus XA2 loaded with Kodak Elitechrome 100EBX film in Muntinlupa City + Angono, Rizal, Philippines. These tags describe this photo: doubles, cana1, xa2, xpro, experiment, festival, beans, berries, textures, soap, and higantes. Date: 2011-11-23. Time: Afternoon. This photo can also be found in the album Pseudo-Dishwashed and Textured Celebration Of Giants.
