James Scott Memorial Fountain
A Monday afternoon trip to Detroit's Belle Isle and Downtown. I've been trying to get my husband to go with me into Detroit to keep a look out so I could focus on Photographing (not shooting) some of the Great Sights. We started on Belle Isle and where sadden by state of things, the fountain wasn't even running, and other sights where over grown. The City of Detroit just doesn't have the money for upkeep. At The Spirit of Detroit someone watching a surveillance camera told me over a loud speaker to get off the grass. This is my first B&W roll in many years. I'm mostly happy with it, I'll just need to play around with exposure and developing some more. This photo was shot on film. Taken by alburnkat with a Nikon FG w/ Diana Fisheye Lens loaded with Ilford P4 Surveillance 400 Bulk film in Detroit, MI, United States. These tags describe this photo: 35mm, belle-isle, detroit, fountain, memorial, monument, statue, carillion, and lighthouse. Date: 2012-07. Time: Afternoon. This photo can also be found in the album Monday Afternoon on Belle Isle Detroit.
