When I was in Cagayan de Oro with the Daop-Sining artists to do psychosocial help through the arts, I was thinking of Buddha. For me thoughts about him invoke a sense of inner peace in my heart and mind so that my workshop would be beneficial rather than harmful to people who have suffered so much in the recent Sendong tragedy. These doubles captured those moments when all I wanted was to be an instrument of peace and hope through my humble art.
