Snow day in Rome - 4 Feb 2012
4 February 2012 Rome, Italy Woke up and found that everything outside is covered in thick snow. It has not snowed like this in Rome since 1986. Though lighter snowfall has briefly blanketed the Italian capital since last 2010, but not like this. People are outside taking photos and children are playing in the snow. The whole city is at a standstill, especially since the people are not really used to this thing. Me and Cookeh went out around the neighborhood to document such a rare occurrence. Sadly, with such heavy snowfall some trees gave way to the weight of the snow in their branches. I pity those cars crushed in some part of the neighborhood.
