30 weeks, 30 cams! week 1: ilford sportsman 300 in the next 30 weeks i plan to get some more or less cheap cams from ebay, some others from my photo lab and friends and some from my shelf and we´ll see what they can. i start this week with a 2,49€ ebay-cam: the ilford sportsman 300. i bought this one just because of the name! if you have something special on your shelf you might give me a hint or sent it over so i can shoot a roll with it. but don´t expect me telling about technical stuff as i don´t know (much) about it. i just shoot. btw: i´m satisfied with this camera. what i don´t understand is why some pics got a milky overexposed touch - as for my personal eye-lightmeter the exposed time seemed OK - while others got a rose touch and others are straight b/w ones as we know them.

bloomchen This photo was shot on film. Taken by bloomchen with an Ilford Sportsman 300 loaded with Kodak BW400CN film in Berlin, Germany. Great idea/concept. I can't wait to see more of this project in the coming 30 weeks.

Haha, cool idea! Funnily, I had the exact same idea 1,5 years ago when I started here- got myself around 20 or 30 middle format cameras (box cameras and others, the oldest from the 1930s as fas as I remember), but never got farther than the first 2, hehe. I'm in Berlin (Neukölln), if you fancy picking some up, they are sitting in their shelf all the time anyways because I'm stuck with my Holga and Polaroid :)

Cool project. Might I suggest that you give us some pictures of the cameras, too?

@dinospork: well yes, i wrote a review on this cam as article and posted a picture of it in there. but i can for sure take a digital one and put it as last pic in the album. btw: i have no clue how to include a pic from the web into the description. i hope the guys from LSI put the pic in - i just copy/paste the URL. if you can help me there send me a message.
