Beautiful Fukushima

福島県会津若松市の石部桜です。 会津五桜の第一にあげられる桜の銘木で、樹齢約600年といわれています。見渡す限りの田園の中にぽつりと立っているためひときわその威容が目立っていました。 Ishibezakura (giant cherry tree) in Aizu-Wakamatsu city, Fukushima. This big tree is estimated to be 600 years old. There are many beautiful and famous cherry trees in Fukushima area.
