My Puritan ancestors are no doubt rolling in their graves over this scene...of course, I was thorougly enjoying myself. Supposedly the town is greatly cleaned up compared to years ago but it still manages to have a very seedy and tawdry feel to it. It's kind of like the Atlantic City of the Northeast but without the gambling. And that water is so damned cold it hurts your feet.
