#12 Relationship Köln

frame #12 Relationship Köln - A double exposure featuring some DB bicycles in front of some Douglas window advertisements and a scene of Warhol Brillo boxes stacked next to the doorway into an exhibition at the Ludwig Museum. I am overwhelmingly pleased with this image. Ironically I was just saying to a friend yesterday how I have been feeling really unfulfilled with photography lately. How it seems that we are so inundated today with photographs, photographs, photographs everywhere we look and even when we are not looking. Everyone considers themself a photographer and "photography" feels dead. So I threw this old roll of 120 in with another roll I was developing for a friend, and low and behold this frame comes up from back in April of last year. And I'm in awe of it as if I didn't even make it myself. Perhaps it is the magical happenstance that comes with making double exposures that pleases me? Because this image is certainly more intriguing than either of the 2 separate exposures by themselves. Where to go from here? Who knows...
