The ladies dressed in fabulous gowns made of indigenous materials with face fully made up. Their escorts similarly clad in creative clothes of traditional motif, some holding improvised parasols. The pair paraded with their entourage of supporters through the streets of Lucban. This fashion show of the ingenious use of local materials into awesome clothes has been an integral component of the Pahiyas parade which I had documented for the past three years. This time I tried to get as close as possible to each couple armed with my fisheye 2 and a big smile on my face. Textured my shots with images of vintage postcards.
