Slaves departure house. This house was discovered just 20 years ago. Untill the end of the 19th century it used to be a departure house for slaves to America. The small holes you see on the floor under the windows are where the slaves were crammed together... Not even a meter high. Up there lived the slaves sellers, just above... An amazing mood in there, you still can feel the vibe of slavery, even the smell is still here. And when in the 'cave' you don't play it like it's cool, really impressive...This photo was shot on film. Taken by elvismartinezsmith with a Lomography Spinner 360 (available in our Online Shop) loaded with Kodak Elitechrome 400 film in Agbodrafo, Togo.
