My usual sights and sounds from the Turners Falls Power Canal and Connecticut River. I love the late 19th century brick factories that line the canal. Many are empty, even falling down in the case of the old Griswold Cotton Mill... but the one near the bridge is a working paper mill (Southworth Paper Company) that takes it's power off of the canal.
