This is a very early ca. 1930 Voigtlander Bessa 6x9 folding camera. These folding wire viewfinder cameras usually have a more basic lens and simple shutters but this one has a Compur shutter with speeds up to 250 and top of the line Heliar 105/4.5 uncoated lens. Even though still a bit primitive, the build on these old German cameras was so good and I'm always delighted to see them still operational. They are survivors and a throwback to the old days of mechanical manufacturing.
