Hi! You write that you use green filter. Have you also used red filter? I'm wondering how many f-stops i have to adjust the camerasetting.

You see i have a Voigtlander Perkeo l and a Perkeo ll, and i bought a yellow/green- and red-filter secondhand.

@sierravictor Hi, I would say about three stops. It depends on the subjects probably, but a safe note would be about three stops. If your camera has Through-The-Lens metering (all Autofocus SLRs have), then you don't need to adjust anything, the camera will meter the light that goes through the filter.
Some old cameras have selenium meters around the lens (Olympus trip for example), and the filter will screw on top of that, so you don't have to adjust anything again.

@sierravictor These cameras don't seem to have lightmeters of any kind, so you'll have to compensate the external meter.
You can easily judge the filter-factor of any filter by putting it in front of the light meter and metering the scene through it. You will note how much light is lost through it.
