Panorama EBS at Stonehenge #1

I woke really early and drove 100km to be at the ancient, mystical ruins of Stonehenge by sunrise. It was a frigid morning (3°C) with a bitter wind, but at least it was clear, with plenty of sunshine. I approached the 'exposing both sides' (EBS) technique the same way as described in my first panorama EBS album here: goo.gl/ChwbE The only difference was that I had a changing bag with me this time, so I could flip the film onsite from the redscale side (which I shot first) back to the normal side. I froze my ass off out there, but I think it was worth it for these results. Hope you like 'em too...! :-)

    Dear friends, I don't usually do 'spam thanks' like this, but the recent action on my last two EBS albums has been so PHENOMENAL that I can't keep track of who I already thanked individually any more, but I want each of you to know I really appreciate your generous likes and incredibly kind and supportive comments, so I just want to say THANKS A MILLION to all of you — it's guys like you who make this such a fantastic community to be in...!!! All the best, buckshot :-) @_haustor @134340 @aanum @adamo-75 @ajaxattack @alburnkat @aldaer @alexes @alexyz @alloftheabove @andrejrusskovskij @assholy @aton @bebopbebop @biciclettaverde @biri @bloomchen @boobert @borboleteando @brommi @c5gebj2 @carps @chippo @chourique @clickiemcpete @coca @cpolpa @dabai @deepfried_goodness @deprofundis @devildi @dida @dreadlockboy @dreamseller @earlybird @elvismartinezsmith @emkei @fafascinado @fartstorm @feelux @filipdr @florii @fmadera @frenchyfyl @funfun @furn7973 @gauthierdumonde @gendis @gibri @gionnired @goonies @gorics @grazie @guanatos @guitarleo @hanat9651 @happytea @helenclairehawksley @he-mo @hhjm @hodachrome @ihave2pillows @imbaaa @imbaaa @istionojr @jaybees80 @jean_louis_pujol @jeng @jolgio-lion-cafe @juano @juansupergen @kangiha @kimo @kleeblatt @kleinerkaries @la_niko @lawypop @lazybuddha @little_mochi @lokified @lomomowlem @lomonina @lostlittlekid @lukaaus @maelae @mafiosa @maria_vlachou @marta1901 @mateja @maximum_b @maykel @mczoum @meryl @mindblower @mingkie @modern_nmt @mojo_lomo @neurodiaz @nia_ffm @nikollum @nishichauhan @nostalgina @ohlordy @oldstandby @olga_primavera @oliviermenard @onkel-m @opon21 @paulm99 @pearlmsqueaks @poepel @pui_ind @pzzzenguin @rcwater @realrampage @reneg88 @revolutionary13 @rik041 @robotto_dawad @ryanhelfant @sahilkarkhanis @saidseni @schlogoat @simonesavo @sixsixty @sizer77 @srmarcus @stratski @stromolo @superlighter @sushi_9009 @sweetyyydreams @theoclunk @thinkgeek @tiano @tiano @tomkiddo @tracyvmoore @trw @twizzer88 @ucinz @uptv @vandal @vici @vytaute @wafflesaurus @walasiteodito @weleasewoger72 @winterschlaefer @yokekei @yosoytusombra @zorki

Ahem! so, the earth is flat in UK. Then, Galilée was wrong. This is what I have always suspected. Anyway, this is a great album and I am jalous not being able to do albums like that!

@jean_louis_pujol: Ha ha, yes, flat and mentally isolated from the rest of the world, this little island! Still, it has some benefits, like nice rocks here and there ;-) Thanks for your kind comment, but you CAN do this too, Jean-Louis - in fact, I'd love to see a black & white splitzer version of Dear Old Montpellier like this...! :-)

@buckshot these photos are insanely good. one question though, did you make some kind of splitzer for the horizon or just let the skies do that for you?

  41. buckshot
    buckshot ·

@traaaart: Yes, I made a splitzer by cutting a piece of black card and sticking it onto the UV filter that goes in front of the lens. Thanks a lot for your visit!
