Lilith, la máquina semiótica / Lilith, the semiotic machine
Lilith, mi hija de cinco años, no para de hablar; su juguete preferido son las palabras. Constantemente pregunta por el significado de las palabras y el sentido de las expresiones que escucha, después se dedica construir analogías. Yo la llamo "mi pequeña máquina semiótica" y ella se ríe mientras me explica por qué no es una máquina ¿existe algo más analógico que el lenguaje verbal? ------- Lilith, my five years old daughter, can't stop talking; words are her favourite toy. She asks constantly for the meaning of words and expressions she hears, then she starts constructing analogies. I call her "my little semiotic machine" and she laughs while giving me reasons not to call her machine. Is there anything more analogic than verbal language?
