Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument
Located on the Pajarito Plateau, the cone-shaped tent rock formations are the results of volcanic eruptions from 6 million years ago. There are two trails, one through a slot canyon up to Veterans' Memorial Scenic Overlook, well worth the climb. And a second easy trail past a man-made cave and more tents. We did them both. This photo was shot on film. Taken by alburnkat with a Fuji Natura Classica (available in our Online Shop) loaded with Lomography Color Negative 100 (35mm) film (available in our Online Shop) in near Cachiti Pueblo, NM, United States. These tags describe this photo: trees, view, canyon, rock, and tent. Date: 2012-10. This photo can also be found in the album Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks.
