Crashed and burned...!
Our good friend @gauthierdumonde asked us to help his homemade masks travel the world in his blog-post here: http://www.lomography.com/homes/gauthierdumonde/blog/85255-mask-swapping-my-mask-wants-to-see-the-world I was glad to oblige and honoured to receive his First Lady mask on the first stop of her round-the-world voyage. Unfortunately, though, the 10-year-expired roll of Ektachrome I used to test her with simply wasn't up to the job, and the three shots in this mini-album are the only ones that were even barely salvageable. Nonetheless, I am very grateful to Gauthier for the trust he placed in me, and wish the Lady happier landings in the hometowns of her future hosts. This is one of my favourite photos because it's so cruddy and lo-fi ;-)This photo was shot on film. Taken by buckshot with a Lomography Diana F+ (available in our Online Shop) loaded with Kodak Ektachrome 400X EPL film in Farnham, Surrey, United Kingdom. These tags describe this photo: helmet, race, stock cars, voyage, first lady, cross-processed, x-pro, expired, diy, homemade mask, and @gauthierdumonde. Date: 2012-10-06. Time: Afternoon.
