Kwan Riam Floating Market
The latest floating market to open in Bangkok is in Minburi, which is in the eastern suburbs of the capital. The market is called Kwan Riam Floating Market and is definitely one of my favourites. In only opened four months ago but is already very popular with Thai people. At the moment you will be hard pushed to meet any foreign tourists but this will change soon as word spreads. My favourite feature is the monks on boats who collect alms from the local people. All information was taken from http://www.richardbarrow.com.
