The Osebergship

The Osebergship

Built in southwestern Norway in the year 820. 21.5m long. 5m wide. 15 pairs of oars. Weight 11 tons. Made for sailing along the coast "yachting". Two sceletons was found in the grave. One priestess (?) and possibly a female slave, 25-40 years old and some personal equipment was found in the grave. For more gravegoods look at the last pictures of this album.

    A great museum! I stay here! My preferred is Fram Museum! Another great place is the rathaus! And my preferred city of Norway is Bergen!
