The Kiev Experiment
Since my Kiev-4M got serviced I hadn't used it, which was a bad move as the warranty on the service only lasted for a couple of months. When I came to use it the onboard meter was reading way off. The ISO and GOST scale only cross at 500, so I set my hand held meter to 500ISO and manually adjusted till it was right. Then I shot some HP5 at ISO400 for a test. Didn't come out too bad for a hack.
Taken by sedgetone with a Kiev 4M (available in our Online Shop) loaded with Ilford HP5 film (available in our Online Shop) in London, United Kingdom. These tags describe this photo: dd-x and gost. Date: 2012-07-27. Time: Noon. This photo can also be found in the album The Kiev Experiment.
