@ihave2pillows : Do you consider 1 second to be super long? That's about how long the exposure was. The lightning lasted maybe 2 seconds, and there was a delay time in my reaction - so 1 second is a rough estimate.

Cool. I have tried taking pictures of lightning too. Had a hard time "predicting" where the bolt would come down. So I ended up just shooting randomly and see if I get lucky :)

Please don't feel sad! I must stop trying to be funny! The lightning shot is great. I bet most people here have tried to shoot lightning and failed - I know I have. Hence me being jealous!
