Second Outing with ‘The Brick’ (early post-WWII Argus C3)
Second test roll of my father-in-law's ca. 1946-47 Argus C3 Brick. First colour roll. It still needs a major cleaning, but I'm delighted with the results. I did take a number of other pictures indoors, but most of them didn't turn out — those conditions will take a little more practice, I think. As happened during the first outing with this camera in April, more strangers commented on it as I was walking around than any other I've used. It's a great conversation starter.
Taken by bridgetj with an Argus C3 loaded with Lomography CN 400 film (available in our Online Shop) in Toronto, Canada. These tags describe this photo: colour, 35mm, outdoors, toronto, argus-c3, city, street, and urban. Date: 2012-05-08. Time: Afternoon. This photo can also be found in the albums Argus C3 Brick (ca. 1946-47): The Second Test Roll (May 2012)Oot and aboot Toronto #6 (April - May 2012).
