Barra Beach, Aveiro
It is here that flows into the Ria de Aveiro, which is also knowed by the lighthouse of Aveiro or Barra´s lighthouse is the highest lighthouse in Portugal. Located in Barra, from city of Gafanha da Nazaré, Ílhavo county, Aveiro’s city. At the time of its construction, the sixth largest in stone masonry, continuing to be currently the second largest of Iberian Península, being included in the 26 largest in the world.
Here again we witness the entry and exit of the fishing boats, sometimes escorted by seagulls. Barra is an ideal place for surfing, windsurfing, sailing, sea fishing and underwater fishing or even for those who like to take a walk, jog or ride a bike and skate.
Especially during the summer bathing season many people come to the beach, the bar’s offers all the conditions and means to be a very busy place in summer. The parties and local bar’s give a different color and ambient at night, which comes after a long and busy day at the beach, this becoming one of the most frequented beaches in the region
